As a Financial Accountant, you will handle all aspects of financial accounting for the world's largest marketplace for luxury watches. You will be independently responsible for preparing and carrying out the monthly and quarterly financial statements. This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis, starting from 30 hours per week.
What you can expect
- As part of the Finance Team, you support the ongoing financial accounting in Karlsruhe.
- You oversee the preparation and execution of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
- You are responsible for managing our subsidiaries abroad.
- You analyze data, research emerging issues, evaluate statistics, and independently implement projects.
- In doing so, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in a versatile and international work environment.
- You serve as a point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.
What sets you apart
- You have completed training as a tax clerk, a commercial education with a focus on financial accounting, and additionally, completed further training as a certified financial accountant or a comparable qualification.
- You bring several years of professional experience in financial accounting, specifically in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- You have experience with fast close processes.
- You are proficient in Excel and ideally have experience with DATEV. You quickly and easily familiarize yourself with new systems.
- You are fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
